Former 'X Factor' runner-upOlly Murs joined forces with T4's Battlefront.co.uk campaigner Alex Loughlin to make a staggering 496 cups of tea in just one hour - setting the new world record for the Most cups of tea made in one hour.
Supported by a whole host of the 'Thinking Of Me' hitmaker's family and friends in his home county of Essex, the duo succeeded in their attempt to smash the existing Guinness World Record.
Olly said: "It is such a great feeling to have set a new world record with Alex. I've always loved tea and this just takes the biscuit!"
The Guinness world record for the largest tea bag was made by Lancashire Tea, weighing 60 kg (132.2 lb) and was displayed at ASDA in Preston, United Kingdom.
Guinness World Records also recognized the Largest Tea Dance set by 306 couples who took part in a tea dance in George Square, Glasgow, Scotland, UK.
