Investors have received nearly double profit by investing in gold and silver this year, Geo News reported on Monday.
President Sindh Jewelers Association Haji Haroon Chand told ‘Geo News’ that gold was at Rs35,000 per tola in January 2010, now it has reached to its record high at Rs45,500 per tola. While silver was at Rs540 per tola that has reached to Rs975, he said and added that investment in this sector has seen 100 percent rise in 2010.
He further said that the year remained attractive for the investors as the investment in metal trade was on top across the world, adding this trend would continue in 2011.
Haroon Chand further stated that investors received 25 and 70 percent profit in gold and silver respectively at National Comodity exchange. |
